2018 Toy Drive

 Chair, Kathleen Sauser

Every year, at our December luncheon, members
donate brand new, unwrapped toys. This year we collected toys benefiting the Marine Corps TOYS FOR TOTS program.
Our own new member:  Suzanne Nann, Associate Member of Fountain Hills Marine
Corps League (MCL #1439), assisting Senior Vice Commandant David Nelson
in coordinating the Marine Corps Reserve, Toys for Tots drive in our area
each year.  For the first time this year, the Marine Corps League teamed with Friends in the Hills, Kathleen Sauser, to bring joy to area children at Christmastime.  The local Marine Corps Reserves built a special ginger bread house in honor of teaming with Friends In The Hills for collected toys.  As always, Friends members generosity was over whelming!  Thank you to all for your generous donations!  WOW!

2017 Guess Who's Coming to Dinner

Chair: Evelyn Chernoff

New in 2017!!  This is an opportunity for couples to come together and dine in the comfort of a member's home.  On this one special evening you will be able to join in the comradery of both "old" and "new" friends around the dining table.

But there is a catch!  Hosts will not know who's coming to their home until they open the door and guests won't know where they're going until that evening when they open up their envelope containing only the address and phone number of their host!

Join in the fun!  Stay tuned for further details in the FITH Bulletin or contact Evelyn Chernoff, the Activity Chair.
